Man I never thought about that, I would never try to drive on anything if I thought that I was going to roll! Well what about a bunch of cool chrome accessories, like windshield whippers, grill covers, mirrors, etc. Thats how I think ultimate jeeps should have.

Start with a good platform that is already lifted...
I think these are 34's... I personally know street tires work ok.

okay so here's what i'm thinking... custom frame, scrambler tub, rear body protection with no rear wheel cut-outs then wheel base is up to me like by moving the rear axle back to get rid of the "overhang"(110-112" barry). keep the tub factory (no bobbing carter will like that!) except for where the shocks will come through in the rear to attach to the cage and the wheel wheel will relocate for the wheelbase strech. then a bestop supertop will fit the tub for the rainy season, and so will the steering column, wiring, etc. because the jeep will stay of the CJ era (kinda retro-custom)grill skin or steel, and steel/fiberglass/lexan hood are up in the air, and so are boat sides for the rockers..... whats everyone's take on these issues?Huh?? I'M ASKING ALL OF YOU!!!!!!!!!

this is what the manglesnake used to look like....

and then this happened...

now it looks kinda like this...

now we're talking. scrambler tub with a TJ front end. the 49" irocks are way too big for street. but it looks like 60's are under it and the wheelbase is long and it looks like a un-bobbed tub. plus the boat sides look clean on this one. i'm still up in the air on boatsides...... hmm.... Jeremy what is your take on things you've been hearing about this build for ohhh... bout 1.5yrs. now.

Max this is it !!!  What could be better ?  A TJ frt and a Scrambler rear ?  All the room,,,all the bling,,,all the length. Screw the 42's,,,use 38's or 40's and roll with it. Just don't paint it PUKE Green or Black ! I think RED or BROWN would be perfect  Grin

I know where there is one for sale. Just hop on the motorized barstool and the cooler has a hitch so you can drag it with you. It's called a "Bar Fly".  Wink

I agree. I like it.
TJ front, scrambler rear. I would go for a flat bottom and clearance the body for the drivetrain. 1/2" HDPE, UHMW-PE  skids.
Although ther green ones slight boatside look is pretty cool.
